Ledger Management

Every dollar, tracked and reconciled. See your true per-mile profit on every load, not just the gross rate.

How it works

SureMile automatically logs revenue from completed loads and expenses from fuel receipts, toll transactions, lumper fees, and detention invoices. Each transaction is attributed to the specific truck and load it belongs to.

You get a real-time view of your business — not a spreadsheet you update on Sunday night. Per-load profitability is calculated automatically, so you know which lanes actually make money and which ones just look like they do.

What's tracked

  • Load revenue: linehaul, fuel surcharge, accessorials, detention pay
  • Fuel purchases: gallons, price per gallon, location, matched to truck
  • Tolls: EZ-Pass and cash transactions, matched to trips
  • Maintenance: scheduled and unscheduled repairs, parts, labor
  • Insurance: monthly premiums, broken out by truck
  • Factoring fees: deducted from gross to show true net revenue

Why it matters

Most owner-operators don't know their true cost per mile. They know the gross rate, but fuel, tolls, factoring, and deadhead eat into margins in ways that aren't obvious until you see the numbers side by side.

SureMile's ledger gives you that clarity without requiring an accounting degree. At tax time, export your full year of categorized expenses in one click — no shoebox of receipts required.
