One App for All Your Trucking Needs

Navigation, dispatching, IFTA, and 80% paperwork reduction — why owner-operators are ditching five apps for one.

The Multi-App Problem

If you're an owner-operator or run a small fleet, your daily workflow probably looks something like this: Open one app for navigation. Switch to another for load searching. Pull up your email for rate confirmations. Fire up a spreadsheet or QuickBooks for expenses. Then scramble to remember your IFTA numbers at the end of the quarter.

That's multiple apps, none of which talk to each other. Every load you run means manually entering the same data — pickup, delivery, rate, miles — into different systems. It's the kind of repetitive, error-prone work that costs you hours every week and money every quarter.

We built SureMile because we watched owner-operators do this dance every single day. One app shouldn't mean one feature. One app should mean one place to run everything — from the cab to the back office.

What SureMile Actually Replaces

SureMile isn't a nav app that bolted on dispatching, or a TMS that added a map. It was designed from the ground up to handle the full workflow of a driver who's also the dispatcher, the accountant, and the compliance officer.

Truck-Aware Navigation

SureMile's navigation knows your truck's height, weight, and hazmat status. It routes around low bridges, weight-restricted roads, and no-truck zones. Live POI data shows truck parking availability, scales, and fuel prices — not gas station data repackaged for semis.

Unlike consumer GPS apps, our routing factors in HOS clocks. If you have 6 hours of drive time left, SureMile won't send you on an 8-hour route. It'll suggest a rest stop, show parking availability, and adjust accordingly.

Load Management & Dispatching

Load boards are integrated directly. Browse DAT, Truckstop, and 40+ broker feeds without leaving the app. When you find a load, SureMile auto-fills the details — origin, destination, rate, broker info — from the listing. One tap to accept, one tap to dispatch.

For fleets, the web dashboard shows every truck in real-time. Assign loads, monitor progress, and communicate with drivers — all from one screen. No more group texts and phone tag.

Paperwork Automation

This is where the 80% reduction comes in. Rate confirmations are parsed automatically using AI. Point your camera at a BOL — it's captured, matched to the load, and filed. PODs are geo-tagged and timestamped. Broker setup packets auto-fill from your W-9, COI, and authority documents.

The average owner-operator spends 90 minutes per day on paperwork. SureMile cuts that to under 20 minutes. That's not a marketing claim — it's a measured median across 180 drivers tracked in Q1 2026.

IFTA Compliance

IFTA is the quarterly headache that every trucker dreads. SureMile tracks your miles by jurisdiction automatically — with or without an ELD. Fuel receipts are captured by photo and matched to states. When the quarter ends, your IFTA report is pre-calculated and ready to file.

No more spreadsheets. No more guessing which miles were in which state. No more paying an accountant $200 to do what the app does in 2 minutes.

Financial Management

Every expense, every fuel stop, every toll — captured and categorized as it happens. Settlements reconcile against rate confirmations automatically. Detention charges, lumper fees, and layover pay are logged at the point of occurrence, not remembered (or forgotten) weeks later.

At the end of the week, your settlement is calculated. At the end of the quarter, your IFTA is filed. At the end of the year, your accountant gets clean books instead of a shoebox of receipts.

Why "All-in-One" Matters for Trucking

The trucking industry is unique. Unlike office workers who can alt-tab between apps on a monitor, drivers are operating 80,000-pound vehicles on highways. Every additional app is a distraction. Every manual data entry is a potential error.

When your nav, dispatch, and paperwork live in the same app, data flows automatically:

  • Accept a load → navigation route is calculated automatically
  • Arrive at pickup → BOL capture screen opens
  • Complete delivery → POD is filed and invoice is generated
  • Drive across a state line → IFTA mileage is logged
  • Fill up → fuel receipt is captured and attributed to the correct jurisdiction

No copy-paste. No remembering. No "I'll do it when I get to the truck stop." It just happens.

Mobile + Web — Both Are Real

SureMile isn't a mobile-only app with a token web interface. The mobile app is built for the driver in the cab — big buttons, readable in sunlight, usable with one hand. The web dashboard is built for the office — dispatch board, fleet map, settlements, reports.

Both are fully functional. Both sync in real-time. A dispatcher can assign a load on the web, and the driver sees it on their phone in under 3 seconds. The driver marks delivery complete, and the dispatcher's board updates instantly.

For owner-operators who are both the driver and the dispatcher, this means you can handle dispatch tasks from your phone when you're on the road, and switch to the full desktop experience when you're home.

The Real Cost of Multiple Apps

Let's do the math. A typical owner-operator pays for:

  • Navigation app: $10–15/month
  • Load board subscription: $40–150/month
  • Accounting software: $15–30/month
  • IFTA service: $200–400/quarter
  • Document scanning app: $5–10/month

That's $120–280/month in software alone, plus the time cost of managing five separate systems. SureMile replaces all of them at a fraction of the combined cost.

But the real savings isn't the subscription fees — it's the time. At $50/hour (a reasonable rate for an owner-operator's time), 90 minutes of daily paperwork costs $75/day, or $1,500/month. Cut that by 80% and you're saving $1,200/month in productive time.

Built in the Cab, Not in a Boardroom

SureMile wasn't designed by software engineers who've never seen a loading dock. Our founding team includes owner-operators who ran their own trucks. Every feature was tested on real routes, with real loads, in real traffic.

That's why the interface uses big, readable fonts. That's why the camera capture works in a dimly lit warehouse. That's why the app works on 2G at a rural truck stop. Because we know what it's actually like out there.

"I don't open a laptop anymore. I'm done with paperwork before I'm off the dock." — Owner-operator, Dallas TX, sleeper cab
